Our confidential emergency shelter provides a safe haven for victims of domestic violence at an undisclosed location. With 9 suites, the shelter can accommodate up to 62 individuals, including children. Each family is assigned a suite tailored to their needs, with accommodations ranging from single rooms to larger suites. Each suite features 1 to 2 bunk beds, accommodating 4 to 8 beds in total, along with a private bathroom equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower or bathtub.

The shelter includes communal areas such as a living room and dining room, fostering a supportive community environment. A full-time cook oversees meals prepared in the shared kitchen, which is supplemented by laundry facilities offering 3 washers and 3 dryers at no cost to residents. For confidential consultations, there are 4 staff offices available.

Our children’s activity center is equipped with educational toys and games, overseen by a Children’s Advocate who organizes recreational and educational activities for children of all ages. Outside, a backyard playground and picnic area provide additional space for relaxation and play.

At our shelter, we prioritize cleanliness, health, and a serene environment to support our clients. The suite setup ensures enhanced privacy compared to traditional shelter arrangements.  The shelter has Residential Advocates on duty 24/7, so they are readily accessible to intake new victims, help survivors and their children with daily needs, and to ensure a safe envriornment for everyone.
