Motherhood is a journey filled with challenges, and for single mothers, it’s even tougher to navigate. Early in my career at S.A.F.E. House, I held had the privilege of serving as a Children’s Advocate, where I witnessed firsthand the immense struggles faced by victim-survivors. Time and again, I heard stories of how brave individuals remained in abusive relationships for the sake of their children. Many mothers endure physical and emotional violence, sacrificing their own well-being to ensure their children’s financial stability. In honor of Mother’s Day, I recognize all single Moms who make selfless sacrifices for their children every day. 💐
